“Eight Progressive Put-Ons from Paul”

1.      "The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us PUT ON   the Armor of Light." (Romans 13:12)

2. "But PUT ye ON the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof."

      (Romans 13:14)

3. "For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ, have PUT ON Christ." (Galatians 3:27)

4. "And that ye PUT ON the New Man , which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness"

      (Ephesians 4:24)

5. "PUT ON the Whole Armor of God of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil"

      (Ephesians 6:11)

6. "And have PUT ON the New Man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created     him." (Colossians 3:10)

7. "PUT ON therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, Bowels of Mercies, kindness, humbleness of

     mind, meekness, longsuffering" (Colossians 3:12)           

8. "And above all these things PUT ON charity (THE LOVE), which is the bond of perfectness."

     (Colossians 3:14)  

**Each of these will occur as we put on/digest the supernatural Word of God which is the Living Christ giving His Holy Spirit the opportunity to control our thoughts, attitudes and actions! (John 6:63; Hebrews 4:12, 13)
